becky@lucentcanvas.com BioProfessionally, I work as a web & graphic designer, with clients such as OSV, Blue Coral/Slick 50, and frequently, Purdue University. Recently, I am working on developing the site for the spanish-speaking news station in Indiana, Fast Track Te Informa. I am a Doctoral student in Health Communication at Purdue University, where I am currently working on several research projects, manuscripts.
I recently completed my Masters degree in June, 2009 in Health Communication research. I conduct research and design at the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering, and occasionally teach undergraduate courses-- most recently, the upper-level presentational speaking course. This fall I will teach two classes: Speech Communication of Technical Information and Discussion of Technical Problems.
I am thrilled to have had many wonderful professional opportunities in my life and a great academic career. I'm very grateful for good friends and family! Life is good. :)
